Metering

EVE utilises smart meters throughout Eglinton Village.

The smart meter connected to your property, records your electricity usage in intervals. Typically, the interval is for 30 minutes or some shorter interval, depending on configuration.

How to read your meter

The meter display shows you the total amount of electricity that you use for your tariff on the meter. To view the details of the tariff registers on the meter display.

EVE's meters are programmed to automatically cycle through the available displays every 6-8 seconds. You can press the button (if available) to move through the meter displays manually.

The meters always display the date and time before cycling through to other displays. Note: The time is always in Australia Western Standard Time). After the date and time, the first display is always the total kWh.
