Self Supply Application - Customer

Please use this form to apply for a new Eglinton Village Energy (Eve) Self Supply Application.

Once submitted, your nominated installer will be contacted separately to provide the technical system details required to complete the assessment.

The full process typically takes around 3 weeks from initial application through to finalisation, depending on how quickly all required information is provided.

Customers initiate the application process and then Solar Installers will be invited by Eve thereafter to submit the next round of application information.

Before starting, make sure you know whether this application is for a new embedded generation system or a modification to an existing embedded generation system. You’ll be asked to provide details about your embedded generation system and installer so we can assess your connection requirements. Some embedded generation systems may need to meet specific technical standards or have export limits applied. If you’re unsure, check with your installer before proceeding.

Eglinton Village Energy (Eve) Account Number

Enter the Eglinton Village Energy (Eve) Account Number linked to the property where the system will be installed. This helps us identify the correct connection point. You can find your Eve Account Number on the front page of your bill, in the top right corner. Note: If your Retailer is not Eve, please contact your Retailer direct to initiate this process.

Supply Address

Provide the installation address for the system. Make sure this matches the supply address registered with your electricity provider. Note: Your Supply Address can be found on the front page of one of your bills

Installer Business Name

Enter the name of the company responsible for installing the system. This should match the business registered for the installation.

Installer Email Address

Provide the installer’s email address so we can send important updates and reference details if required.

Installer Phone Number

Enter a contact number for the installer in case additional information or clarification is needed.

Inverter Capacity (kVA)

Specify the total inverter capacity of the system in kVA. This determines how much power the system can convert for use or export. Note: Speak with your Installer before providing this information. Note: The maximum inverter capacity at Eglinton Village is 10kVA.

PV Panels Capacity (kW) if applicable

Enter the total generation capacity of the solar panels in kW. Only include this if solar PV is part of the system. Note: Speak with your Installer before providing this information.

Battery Capacity (kWh) if applicable

Provide the usable storage capacity of the battery system in kWh. Only required if a battery is being installed. Note: Speak with your Installer before providing this information.

*I have nominated the installer listed in this application and authorise them to act on my behalf to provide additional information and progress this application where required.

*My system must comply with all relevant technical and connection requirements, including any applicable standards for system size, export limits, and remote management capabilities.
